ColdFusion and MS SQL-powered blogging software that's easy to use and maintain
  • There is a lot of discussion about Adobe's ColdFusion markup-language over the years, and how there are better alternatives to creating dynamic, server-side applications. Well, many sites and applications that I am working with at Spectral Fusion Designs are coded in CFML, and having never used it before, I thought that I better pick up the language and start learning the syntax and it's uses.

The syntax is much like that of HTML, in that it is a tag-based language, but is also capable of communicating with a server. After a straight week of working with CFML, I decided I would try and code blogging software using it and MS SQL. Below you will see the result, which took roughly 6 days to code and design (so far).
